Manny's Uptown Kitchen

"It's the best of the deli. Chef'd up."

Well, not really, Manny.

We went to Manny's Uptown Kitchen for the lone reason of H&H Bagels, straight from Hell's Kitchen in NYC. I ordered the Austin Roast Veggie Sandwich (minus goat cheese). This monster sandwich has eggplant, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado on a "hurt your mouth" toast. It's like more than two meals for me, and super tasty. The fries kick ass.

And then, we have Happy Meal. He has ordered the bagel & lox, and said it was good (because of the bagel), but not great (because of the cheap, shitty lox). Another time, he ordered the Uptown Hash, which is fried eggs on top of corned beef, pastrami, onions, bell peppers, pimento cheese and potato pancakes. Jesus! He said it was okay, but the pimento cheese, shit, there was like an ice cream scoop of that shit.

So, we will keep looking for good Jew-y deli food for Happy Meal. This "New York style deli" is not living up to it's name.
